Pennsylvania Skill, through its charitable giving efforts, gave out record annual donations of $1 million in 2021 to organizations across the state. The donations were given out across the state, and recipients included school programs, domestic violence shelters, veterans organizations, fire departments and animal shelters, among others.
“Pennsylvania Skill, which is powered by Pace-O-Matic, is thrilled to be able to help so many groups around the state doing important work,” said Nicole Miele, director of charitable giving. “Our goal is to help as many communities as possible.”
Some of the highlights of this year include:

$150,000 donated to Feeding Pennsylvania, which distributes funds to the nine food banks in Pennsylvania

$50,000 to Veterans Promise in Scranton, which helps veterans experiencing mental health challenges along with their families

$20,000 to the Mildred Fire Company and Ambulance Association in Sullivan County toward the purchase of a new emergency vehicle

$15,000 to the Ronald McDonald House in Danville, Montour County
For the past four years, Pennsylvania Skill has reached out to community organizations. At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, when many people lost their jobs, Pennsylvania Skill donated $250,000 to Feeding Pennsylvania, which was the equivalent of 750,000 meals. Pennsylvania Skill also held meal take out events around the commonwealth to help those impacted by COVID.
Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving is made up of the hundreds of skill game operators from across the state. It has handed out nearly $2 million since it was created in 2018.
